Assistant Secretary of the Navy Roosevelt informs Frances Monroe Robinson that he has shown both her letter and Mrs. Lock’s letter to Senator Lodge. Lodge will attempt to get the claim they request through again, but both he and Roosevelt are doubtful it will happen due to the suspicious nature of the claims.
