Jarvis A. Wood, an alumnus of the Bible School at North Baptist Church, asks if Theodore Roosevelt will send a message to be dictated at the school’s Independence Day celebration. The event is normally very large, with prominent speakers and strong “loyalty to God and country.” Wood has also enclosed a grant booklet, which was used as a souvenir at the celebration last year.
