Letter from Carmen Sylva to Theodore Roosevelt
Carmen Sylva, the Queen of Romania, is pleased that the country now has its own American diplomat. She is also glad to hear that President Roosevelt enjoyed the actress Gertrude Giers. Sylva also sends Roosevelt some of her writings, and discusses her desire to build a city for the blind, where they will be employed as typesetters.
