Letter from John Baer Stoudt to Edith Kermit Carow Roosevelt
Reverend Stoudt writes to Edith Roosevelt and expresses sympathy on death of Quentin Roosevelt. Stoudt’s brother was told by a German P.O.W. that Quentin Roosevelt’s death was “largest single factor in ….breaking morale of the German Army.” He writes that Theodore Roosevelt and his sons are an “inspiration.”
