Testimony of Herman Schedler
Herman Schedler, a photographer, discusses a check for the sum of $975 addressed to Piper-Heidseick Champagne Company, signed by Theodore Roosevelt. Schedler was given the task of photographing and making a plate of the check. He sent two copies of the photographs to Oberly and Newall and retained two for his personal files. He was alerted by Washington authorities that they objected to the photograph and requested he return the negative and all copies, which he did.
