Letter from Charles E. Russell to Theodore Roosevelt
Theodore Roosevelt and the Progressive Party were successful in Michigan. In Charles E. Russell’s county, President Taft only won one precinct. The local children were very interested in the election and several cried when Russell informed them of Governor Wilson’s victory.
