Pamphlet from the New York State Committee for the Advancement of Agricultural Education and Experiment
The New York State Committee for the Advancement of Agricultural Education and Experiment advocates for the state to provide more funds to the agricultural college at Cornell University. The endowment under the 1862 Federal Land Grant Act does not provide enough funds for the college to provide free education, or to have a building to house the college.
