Letter from William A. S. Miller to Theodore Roosevelt

William A. S. Miller, secretary of the Edinburgh Philosophical Institution, conveys an invitation to President Roosevelt to give an address in Edinburgh when he is in Great Britain after his safari. Miller provides Roosevelt a brief history of the institution, which has hosted a number of other notable speakers. Should Roosevelt consent to giving a speech, Miller says that the choice of subjects would be entirely Roosevelt’s, and that it would not need to be highly technical.
