National Park Service Director Mather thanks Lewis Carrigan, Secretary-Manager of the Northern California Counties Association, for his letter reporting the attitude of his organization regarding the Lassen Volcanic National Park. Mather notes “with interest” that the road from Chester, California, to Juniper Lake has been completed, and hopes that the Juniper Lake Resort Company’s plans for further improvements are successful.
