Letter from George G. Hill to Theodore Roosevelt

George G. Hill writes to Theodore Roosevelt he is pleased that Roosevelt will consider if he will publish his correspondences with Charles Dwight Willard. Hill believes it would be fair that Willard’s name were kept confidential. If Roosevelt agrees to make the correspondences public, Hill states he will handle all matters in duplication and publication. Hill notes things have greatly changed at the White House since Charles Dyer Norton was replaced by Charles Dewey Hilles.

Letter from George G. Hill to Roscoe C. E. Brown

George G. Hill explains to Roscoe C. E. Brown that President William H. Taft was embarrassed by a recent article from the Associated Press concerning his meeting with Theodore Roosevelt in Baltimore. Letter from George G. Hill to Theodore Roosevelt

Letter from George G. Hill to Theodore Roosevelt

George G. Hill heard from Maurice Francis Egan about a letter Theodore Roosevelt wrote to Charles Dwight Willard on the referendum. He would like to read a copy if possible. He read Roosevelt’s interview with Henry Beech Needham and reprinted extracts of it in the New York Tribune, and asks whether he saw the testimonial to William Loeb in yesterday’s issue of the New York Evening Post. He wishes Taft had more “Roosevelt men” in his administration. In a handwritten postscript, Hill expresses disappointment at not being able to visit with Roosevelt when he passed through in March.
