This postcard depicts the Haleiwa Hotel, which is roughly a two hour train ride from Honolulu near the Waianae mountains and Mount Kaala. It is described as having easy access to golf, tennis, and bathing, among other amenities.
In Charles C. Myers’s own words, “The Haleiwa (hal-e-wa)? Hotel is more of a sanitorum and family hotel and situated in the suburbs of the city.”
