Letter from Martin Handy to Theodore Roosevelt
Martin Handy is distressed that authorities allowed a man with a sling to get so close to President McKinley and then fire two shots. He hopes and prays that Vice President Roosevelt will learn from the attempted assassination and that God will protect and guide him.
