Letter from John White Hallowell to Theodore Roosevelt
John White Hallowell is now unable to visit President Roosevelt to play tennis, as he has to have his tonsils out. He sends his regrets and tells Roosevelt that a group of people in Cambridge are attempting to counteract the efforts at Harvard to eliminate intercollegiate athletics, especially football.
