Letter from Marguerite C. Gates to Theodore Roosevelt
At a recent meeting of the Texas Club of New York City, the members expressed a wish to have Theodore Roosevelt deliver an address at their annual meeting. Marguerite C. Gates, one of the charter members of this group, writes to personally invite Roosevelt to this meeting and urge him to accept the engagement.
