Letter from Maxwell Evarts to Theodore Roosevelt
Maxwell Evarts inquires if Theodore Roosevelt would be interested in attending an annual dinner held by the Vermont Fish and Game League in September after being unable to attend the year before. As president of the League, Evarts will send a formal invitation if so. The League would much appreciate his presence at an event which “practically represents the entire State of Vermont.”
