Freeman L. Dustman, editor of the Toledo Blade, writes to President Roosevelt regarding an endorsement for the presidential nomination by the Ohio Republican convention. Dustman thinks Ohio senators Joseph Benson Foraker and Charles Dick will oppose this plan, and that there may be a contest on the floor of the convention. Dustman notes that The Blade believes in specifically endorsing Roosevelt and making no reference to the senators.
