Letter from George E. Chamberlain to George B. Cortelyou

Letter from George E. Chamberlain to George B. Cortelyou

George E. Chamberlain acknowledges receipt of George B. Cortelyou’s letter regarding an act by the Oregon State Legislature to create a sailor boarding house commission in Portland. Federal intervention is welcomed, and may do some good.
