Letter from Maurice de Brunoff to Theodore Roosevelt
Maurice de Brunhoff, French publisher, writes to President Roosevelt to thank him for his friendly welcome. Brunhoff is sending Roosevelt a Bible illustrated by his friend James Tissot that will be printing out of the newly opened New York branch of his publishing house. He is sending the gift out of his love for America. The original paintings in the book are exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in New York. Brunhoff hopes Roosevelt and wife Edith will come visit.
