Valerie Naylor

Valerie Naylor served as Superintendent of Theodore Roosevelt National Park (TRNP) from 2003-2014. She started her 31-year career with the National Park Service at TRNP in 1979 and served in several western parks as a park interpreter/naturalist, public information officer, and museum curator.  She has a Master’s Degree in Biology from the University of North Dakota. Valerie currently works with the Theodore Roosevelt Center as our “National Park Vagabond,” traveling across the country to national park sites in search of Roosevelt-related materials and writing blog posts about the materials she discovers.
