Alexandra Hecht

Alexandra (Ally) Hecht, Digital Collections Cataloger and Archivist, studied history at Indiana University Northwest. She earned both her Master of Arts in History and Master of Library and Information Science from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. During the summer of 2023, Ally was an intern for the Theodore Roosevelt Center.  

As a digital collections cataloger and archivist, Ally links, describes, and prepares materials for publication in the digital library, and is responsible for acquisitions and the organization of the TRC’s physical archival collections. She also provides guidance to summer interns and student workers, and is involved in outreach efforts for the Center.

Since joining the Theodore Roosevelt Center, Ally has participated in Phi Alpha Theta initiation ceremonies at Dickinson State University and has served as a judge in North Dakota National History Day competitions.
