John R. Carter, secretary at the American embassy in London, acknowledges J. E. Hodder-Williams’ desire to have his book, The Life of Sir George Williams, forwarded to President Roosevelt. The President receives many requests for acknowledgments in favor of books, and he is not likely to provide one, but the embassy will be happy to forward the book if Hodder-Williams still wishes them to do so.
