Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to Charles R. Settlemier et al.
President Roosevelt thanks Charles R. Settlemier and the other members of a committee for the resolution of invitation to attend the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition in the summer of 1909. Roosevelt regrets that it is not possible to accept, as he will be out of the country at the time, but wants to make sure that Settlemier and others know his firm belief in the positive future of Alaska.
