President Roosevelt forwards Senator Proctor a copy of correspondence between Secretary of the Treasury Leslie M. Shaw and Olin Merrill demonstrating that Shaw was acting in good faith. Roosevelt has no problem with Shaw’s action or the correspondence being published.
