Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to Sam P. Davis
President Roosevelt informs Sam P. Davis that he does not know of open positions at the United States Customs Service in San Francisco, and he does not know if he could appoint someone to any open position. Roosevelt requests that Davis have Mrs. Shaw send him her qualifications and desired position. He asks Davis to send his regards to Nevada Governor John Sparks.
