Letter from Curtis Guild to George B. Cortelyou

Curtis Guild forwards an invitation from Simon Green Atkins, president of Slater Industrial Academy. Albert Slater, the son of the philanthropist after whom the academy was named, was a friend of President Roosevelt’s at Harvard. Guild asks that a response be sent directly to Mr. Atkins. He appreciates George B. Cortelyou’s “tactful and invaluable service” since the assassination of William McKinley.
