Henry A. Siebrecht writes to President Roosevelt to ask for permission to plant three trees at Sagamore Hill in honor of the peace treaty ending the Russo-Japanese War. Siebrecht has selected a Japanese Cedar, a Russian Mulberry, and an American White Oak as representative of the three countries.
