Alvey A. Adee encloses a note from the British ambassador stating that the government agrees with the proposal to appoint a joint commission to investigate obstruction on the St. John River. Adee will soon be given the names of the British representatives, and now American representatives need to be appointed.

Letter from H. Mortimer Durand to Alvey A. Adee

H. Mortimer Durand informs Alvey A. Adee that a joint commission has been appointed to investigate the obstructions on the St. John River. The Dominion Government of Canada approved the creation of the commission and the funding for the commission. Durand will soon notify Adee of the names of those appointed to the commission.
