Theodore Roosevelt thanks Charles and Kathleen Norris for a copy of the book by Kathleen Norris, which he plans to read immediately. In a time of “make-believe reformers” preaching doctrine that he considers foolish, wicked, and vile, Roosevelt considers it an “immense comfort” for America to have a writer like Norris.
