Little Roosevelt and the zeal
Anecdote about President Roosevelt’s childhood visits to the New York Presbyterian Church. He had been anxious about “the zeal,” which he thought might be a beast or dragon, having heard the minister read from Psalm 69:9, “For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.”
