Letter from John R. Middlemiss to Theodore Roosevelt
John R. Middlemiss commends President Roosevelt’s administration and offers him an annuity from a copper-gold mining company. Middlemiss believes this will provide no less than $250,000 dollars a year, and should allow Roosevelt to “sustain the dignity of his position.”
