Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to James Wilson
President Roosevelt informs Secretary of Agriculture Wilson that Thomas E. Wilson will call upon him to discuss objections against the label on canned goods for export in three cases. Roosevelt shares his current impressions and requests Wilson write him with “entire freedom and frankness” on the matter.
