Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to T. P. Gill
Theodore Roosevelt expresses his appreciation to T. P. Gill for his being a man with such a “thorough understanding” of his position on the matter. Roosevelt is very glad to have received a copy of Life of Sir William Butler, a book which he will always keep on hand in his library. Roosevelt regrets never having seen Butler, but he hopes to see Gill if he ever comes “to this side” of the Atlantic.
