Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to Edwin C. Burleigh
President Roosevelt thanks Representative Burleigh of Maine for the actions of the Kennebec Journal and for gifting a book by his son, Clarence Blendon Burleigh. The book, All Among the Loggers, pleased Roosevelt by being dedicated to William Wingate Sewall, and Roosevelt mentions that president-elect William H. Taft has promised that Sewall will continue in his current position. Roosevelt invites Burleigh and his son to come visit for lunch or dinner sometime.
