Simon Wolf, president of the B’nai B’rith, believes he could use Secretary of State John Hay’s correspondence about the Jews to good effect. President Roosevelt also asks George B. Cortelyou about George Brumder. Last spring Brumder “was most warm in his expression of loyalty.”
