Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to William Sydney Thayer
Theodore Roosevelt is thankful for the letter from William Sydney Thayer and is glad to hear that William Cabell Bruce feels the same way as Thayer. Roosevelt thinks the quote Thayer included from Pontius Pilate was a good one. If Thayer reads the next issue of The Metropolitan, he will see that Roosevelt was thinking along the same lines but decided to allude to what St. John said in Revelations 3:1-5.
