President Roosevelt hopes that Mary Channing Wister’s husband, Owen Wister, recovers from his illness soon. He completely agrees with the statement she sent, and has forwarded it to Commissioner of Education Elmer Ellsworth Brown. Roosevelt sends his love to the “blessed chicks.”
