Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to William Henry Welch
Theodore Roosevelt regrets he will not be in New York on Thursday to see William Henry Welch. He informs Welch that it is physically impossible for him to accept any more invitations of any kind to speak, and is only now finishing writing a speech he promised Albert Shaw over a year ago. He hates to have to answer no.
