Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to W. A. Faulk
Vice President Roosevelt tells W. A. Faulk that he received his request for two favors. Roosevelt is unable to interfere in “an appointment such as that you mention” because his involvement would create resentment. He did write to the War Department regarding Faulk’s claim.
