Letter from Theodore Roosevelt to Martin J. Bredvold
President Roosevelt was interested in the photograph Martin J. Bredvold sent him of the old horse “Spearfish.” Roosevelt recalls riding on the horse at a roundup, and while he neither bucked or went over backward, “he was a little hard to get on and off of in those days.”
