Loren Palmer informs Theodore Roosevelt that he has communicated to William C. Reick, the new owner of The Sun, Roosevelt’s wish to not be disturbed by newspaper men in Oyster Bay. Palmer emphasizes how important it is for him to be able to report news out of Oyster Bay in The Sun, and adds that he is proud of to have Roosevelt’s confidence and trust.
