Alexander Pollock Moore tells Theodore Roosevelt that the jury ruled against him in his libel case, but he considers it a victory given the circumstances. Moore says they will send progressive republican delegates and they will support Roosevelt’s policies. Moore sees Roosevelt as the only chance for a Republican victory in the election.
