The front cover of this issue features a photograph of President Theodore Roosevelt onboard the presidential yacht USS Mayflower watching the departure of the Great White Fleet. A postcard celebrating the voyage of the fleet appears on the back cover and includes a photograph of Roosevelt, an illustration of the Uncle Sam character, and a list of all the port stops made by the fleet.
