Theodore Roosevelt compliments the natural resources of Idaho and emphasizes the personal attributes of citizens that are necessary to make the state flourish. The worst thing an American can do is create feelings of hatred and mistrust. Roosevelt closes his speech by introducing the Secretary of the Navy.
