Theodore Roosevelt’s secretary thanks Charles J. McDonald for his suggestion, presumably referring to the idea of starting a Progressive newspaper in Worcester, Massachusetts, in which McDonald would invest. The secretary will bring the idea to the attention of George W. Perkins.
