Theodore Roosevelt thanks William Alexander Sutherland for the kind letter. He explains that publishers will only accept books they think will be profitable to print and do not accept outside opinions. Roosevelt received numerous manuscripts, all of which have not been accepted. The only thing he can do is send Sutherland’s manuscript in.
