Theodore Roosevelt writes Corinne Roosevelt Robinson that he is impressed with the poem and found their lunch delightful. Roosevelt is pleased with Teddy’s attitude and believes that “sooner or later [Teddy] will become a power in this county.” Roosevelt cites an Arab proverb in reference to Teddy’s attitude.
