Theodore Roosevelt writes to Raymond B. Cox to decline the invitation to speak at the American Institute of Banking’s conference in Rochester. He sent similar messages to Congressman Vreeland and Mr. Bonaparte, describing his desire to avoid public speaking at the present time.
