Roosevelt would be glad to meet with Henry T. Allen. Regarding the Yellowstone matter, he remembers being concerned about the friction between Allen and S. B. M. Young. However, he does not recall William Loeb, Carter, or Harry W. Child speaking against Allen and the park’s management. He only refrained from interfering with any action the Department decided was necessary. Although, his “memory may be at fault.”
