President Roosevelt has received Philip C. Aspinwall’s picture of a “very nice elephant.” Roosevelt remarks that he may not have a chance to shoot an elephant on his upcoming safari but will perhaps get a rhinoceros instead. He compliments the “pretty colors” Aspinwall used and tells him to thank his mother, Alicia Aspinwall, for sending it.
