H. N. Engelke, as part of a committee headed by George L. Cain, previously met with Chairman Cortelyou about increasing wages for employees of the Norfolk Navy Yard. Engelke says the same wage question has arisen at the Washington Navy Yard and discusses the details for its resolution.
